To our dear Forze friends,

Time flies when you are having fun, especially at Forze. It is already March! The highlight of last month's excitement was driving the car up to the dynamometer and working out the details on the dynamometer. More about that later! In other news, the recruiting season has started. Forze offers a unique and valuable experience for member students and develops competent, analytical engineers to be better prepared for a career in an technical field. As a team, we look forward to the future, specially now that hydrogen technology is becoming more and more developed.

Please enjoy this newsletter and thank you for reading,

February, 21st - Two weeks ago we hosted several of our sponsors in our HQ here in the Dream Hall in Delft. The Forze VII was on display, the racing simulator was loaded, and the Forze VII board was present to answer questions. The event was held to update our sponsors on our progress and to show appreciation for their backing!

Once again, we would like to thank all of our sponsors for contributing in our mission to promote hydrogen fuel and for helping us on our path to racing this summer at the Supercar Challenge!

Although September is still months away, it is never too early to discover your calling. Forze is recruiting for next year's board and core team, so come to the next interest drink if you are up to the challenge! We had our first drink last week, with students representing the varied technical branches at the university attending and showing interest, especially during the presentation of our team alumnus talking about his unique experience at Forze. It is always great to see interest from the TU Delft student body, because that is of course where we pick our future team members!

Forze's Electronics Department has written a new blog: this time, the story is about Chief of Electronics Sieger Falkena and the interface of the Forze VII.

So I got the job to design the user interface of the new Forze VII. The initial idea was just to design a steering wheel PCB (printed circuit board) that handled everything, but in the end I have designed 4 different PCB’s.

February has been an exciting month! The Forze VII was put to the test on the dynamometer (in short: dyno) and has given us valuable insights. Step by step, we increase the speed in order to collect the exact data on each power level. Moreover, the procedure on the dyno has to be executed carefully, because the dyno may not be overheated and needs to be cooled down properly. Have you missed our first moments on the dyno? Watch it again with the link below:

FCH JU paid TU Delft and us a visit. FCH JU stands for Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking and plays an important role in the hydrogen world. Forze was honoured to welcome them at our place.

Further hydrogen news: thirteen multinationals have agreed to invest in development of hydrogen technology. it is an important step made by the 'Hydrogen Council' in Davos, Switzerland to cut back on polluting emissions.
